This policy explains what happens to your information if you use the contact form on aliyourdev.com ("this site"). This site is run by me, Ali Hassan, as a personal portfolio — there is no company or agency behind it, just me.

What I collect

The only personal information collected through this site is what you choose to submit via the contact form:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • The message you write

I don't use cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts on this site, and I don't collect any information beyond what you submit yourself.

How I use it

Your name, email and message are used for one purpose only: to read and reply to your enquiry. I don't use this information for marketing, advertising, profiling, or any automated decision-making, and I don't add you to a mailing list.

How it's processed and stored

When you submit the form, your message is sent as an email directly to my personal inbox using Cloudflare's Email Routing service — it is not saved into a database on this website. From that point, it exists only as a normal email in my inbox (hosted with Apple iCloud), kept for as long as I need it to handle your enquiry, and deleted when it's no longer needed.

Cloudflare and Apple process this data only as infrastructure providers delivering and hosting the email — they are not given access to use it for their own purposes.

Sharing with third parties

I do not sell, rent, or share your information with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes. It is never disclosed to anyone except as described above (the infrastructure that delivers the email to me), unless I'm required to by law.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to ask what personal data I hold about you, request that it be corrected or deleted, or object to how it's used. Since I only hold what you send me via email, this is straightforward — just email me and I'll action your request.

Changes to this policy

If anything about how this site handles data changes (for example, if analytics or cookies are added in future), this page will be updated to reflect that.
